A children's dream house for their dolls and cars

The LILIANE Dolls Villa is much more than a normal doll house. The Villa is specially designed for dolls that are one foot tall – children’s favourite dolls – making it unique in the world and popular among children.

The open design of the Villa encourages interaction and free play: up to six children can use it at the same time. Apart from families, the Villa is also a much-loved item at day care centres and primary schools not just in the Netherlands, but across Europe.

Apart from play, there are other interesting applications. Currently universities in the Netherlands and Poland are researching how play therapists, child psychiatrists and psychologists can use the Villa to help children who suffer from trauma.

Designer Liliane Limpens says: “In the words of the Dutch consul-general Guido Tielman in Chongqing, China, the Dolls Villa is ‘the Bentley among the world’s dolls houses!’”

Poppenvilla Kids Design at Superstudio Milaan

Tijdens de Internationale Milaan Design Meubelbeurs 2015 start de eerste editie van een nieuw design project voor kinderen: Ki.D.S | Kids Design at Superstudio. De Nederlandse Poppenvilla is geselecteerd om er acte de présence te geven.

Psychologiecentra in Wenen voor klinische en gezondheidspsychologie starten de professionele inzet van de Nederlandse Poppenvilla.

Tweede Liliane Poppenvilla uitgereikt Stichting Adelante

Chapeau Magazine: 'Afgelopen vrijdag mocht Stichting Adelante uit handen van voorzitter Roberto Lanckohr (ING Maastricht) en vice voorzitter Erik Meijer de 2e Liliane Poppenvilla in ontvangst nemen. Dit werd mogelijk gemaakt door Stichting Golf & Humor Foundation, deze stichting steunt sinds 2007 diverse projecten in de Euregio Aken – Luik – Maastricht. De projecten hebben allen te maken met het doel van de stichting, zijnde het helpen van kinderen met een lichamelijke handicap maar ook kinderen te helpen waar er van thuis uit geen financiële mogelijkheden zijn voor diverse activiteiten. Middels het organiseren van een golfdag heeft de stichting in de afgelopen 7 jaren inmiddels circa 140.000 euro weten te schenken.'

'De poppenvilla is een ontwerp van Liliane M.E.M. Limpens. Adjunct directeur Monique Lion van de Mytylschool gaf aan erg blij te zijn met deze schenking.'
